The Code of Ethics is a document that outlines the foundation’s laws and regulations. It does aswell give additional information. The Code of Ethics was created to avoid chaos, corruption and criminality on the facilities. It is an official document which can not be revoked or re-written. All personnel must abide by the Code of Ethics.
§ 1.2 Ethics Committee purpose[]
The Ethics Committee is in charge of enforcing the Code of Ethics. They conduct votes about ethical matters.[]
§ 1.3 Ethics Committee authority[]
- Ethics Committee members have the right to fully enforce the Code of Ethics respectively.
- Ethics Committee members should always remember that they are not superior against anyone.
- Members may conduct cases and investigations on personnel for ethical reasons.
- Members may detain and interrogate personnel respectively.
- Members are to forbid themself from detaining and interrogating Moderators, server hosts and any [insert high rank]
- Cases against these personnel are allowed if suspected or deemed as corrupted, abusive, or treacherous.
- Members have the right to cancel any activities such as a test if deemed as unethical.
- Members may not detain violators while actively conducting duties such as re-containment.
- This can be avoided if it is a heavy violation.
§ 2.1 Foundation Personnel conduct[]
- Foundation Personnel must not trespass into any restricted areas or without being in possession of the required clearance.
- Foundation Personnel must not intentionally act abusive, corrupted, treacherous or rogue to fool other personnel or enforcers.
- Foundation Personnel must abide by the Code of Ethics.
- Foundation Personnel must not interfere with the re-containment of a breached SCP.
- Foundation Personnel must not harass, target, or verbally insult other personnel.
- Foundation Personnel must report violations to the Ethics Committee.
- Foundation Personnel must not leak any classified documents, classified usernames or classified chat rooms and messages.
- Foundation Personnel must not assist Test Subjects to flee or riot. Escaped Test Subjects are to be reported to combative personnel via the global radio.
- Foundation Personnel are not limited to joining as many departments as they want to.
- Foundation Personnel may utilize any firearms as a sign of self-defence.
- Foundation Personnel must not verbally threaten other personnel.
- Foundation personnel cannot go inside SCP’s inner containment cell without correct authorisation.
- Foundation Personnel cannot interrupt any training unless with valid reasoning.
§ 2.3. Executive Personnel conduct[]
- Executive Personnel must not play with their power or abuse them for their own benefit.
- Executive Personnel must enforce the Code of Ethics or other departmental guidelines.
- Councils may not respond to violations if no Ethics Committee member is present, instead, they can file a report.
- Executive Personnel must not free rank any personnel or give advantages.
§ 3.2 Research personnel
§ 3.2.2 Addressing[]
Personnel within the Scientific Department are addressed as research personnel.
§ 3.2.3 Research personnel conduct[]
- Research Personnel must only enter containment chambers during a test or with a combative escort for a pre-view of an SCP.
- Pre-views must not take longer than 1 minute.
- Research Personnel must not conduct tests during a breach, raid or riot.
- Members of the Ethics Committee are allowed to supervise any tests without needing the permission of the researcher personnel who are hosting the test.
§ 3.3.2 Test introduction[]
Scientific tests are being conducted to find out the strengths, weaknesses or other abilities about anomaly objects.
§ 3.3.3 Test regulations[]
- Tests must have a valid reason to be hosted.
- A valid reason can also include the confirmation of information about an anomaly object.
- Ethics Committee members may review the testing reason.
- Tests may be cancelled when deemed as unethical.
- Tests must not have more than 3 spectators.
- During mass tests exempt.
- Tests must not be conducted on Suspended personnel and foundation personnel.
- Tests must not be conducted on an SCP which is possibly about to breach.
- If a breach happens during the test, no matter which SCP, the test must be cancelled and the Test Subjects must be taken back to the CDCZ.
- Tests must have at least 2 guards depending on the SCP. If not, the test is to be cancelled. § 4 Combative Personnel
§ 4.1.1 Addressing[]
Personnel within the Security Corps and its three detachments are addressed as combative personnel.
§ 4.2.3 Combative personnel conduct[]
- Combative personnel may freely carry their weapons on-site.
- Combative personnel must not randomly shoot their guns.
- Combative personnel must show maturity at all times. (Officials)
- Combative personnel may detain foundation personnel out of restricted areas.
- If any member of EC is on-site, the combative must informate the member about the personnel and when the EC arrives, the combative may let them handle it.
- Combative personnel must not talk with Test Subjects or Suspended Personnels. (Officials)
- The combative may talk with the Test Subject to give orders during a test.
- The combative may answer group related questions by Test Subjects or Suspended Personnel.
- Combative personnel must protect the facility against breaches, riots or raids.
- Combative personnel may freely enter the CDCZ.
- All combative units are to protect foundation personnel at all cost.
- Combative personnel must not aim at high ranking members of other divisions/factions for no reason.
§ 5 Class-D
§ 5.2 Addressing[]
Test Subjects are addressed as disposable personnel.
§ 5.2.1 Disposable personnel conduct/treatment[]
- Disposable personnel must be terminated for:
- Crossing a termination line.
- Standing on a termination line after one (1) warning shot.
- Pushing other Test Subjects into a restricted area.
- Equipping a firearm.
- Not cooperating after three (3) warnings.
- Being near a breached SCP.
- Interfering with guarding duties
- Disposable personnel must not be terminated for what they say.
- If violating roblox’s TOS, report to an on-site Moderator+
- Disposable personnel can’t authorize themself to be terminated.
- Disposable personnel have the right to refuse to be tested on
- Non-combative personnel with a weapon can terminate disposable class if being threatened and there is no combative personnel nearby.
- As stated before, executive personnel can terminate disposable personnel in this situation even with combatives nearby.
§ 6 Civil Gun Regulation
§ 6.1 Introduction
These regulations count towards personnel with possession of a firearm without being on a combative team. (Only for officials)
§ 6.1.1 Civil gun regulations[]
- Must not act as combative personnel.
- Must not utilize their firearms without reason.
- Must not kill other foundation personnel.
- This is an exception if the personnel is marked as rogue.
- Must not randomly fire their guns or point them against other personnel.
- May only use the weapon to defend against disposable personnel infected/possessed by a SCP or with a weapon or raiders.
- It is recommended that nothing be done against raiders to avoid kills, as raiders have better weapons.
- May defend against other foundation personnel if he is being infected/possessed by a SCP or is crazy and killing foundation personnel (may report the personnel later).
- Foundation personnel with a weapon must not use it for self-defence if a combative personnel is nearby.
- As stated before, executive personnel are exempt from this regulation.
- May shoot Test Subjects if they verbally threat you (“I will kill you.” etc.), killed multiple other personnel in a nearby location, or shooting you.
