Materials for Crafting & Companions

The materials required by companions for their missions, or for crafting, are found in various locations. Those players not familiar with the ins and outs of the game, may find it confusing on how to obtain the materials. So let's make a list of materials and how to obtain them.

Hardwood Variants​

Hardwood and its variants is a common resource required by either companions or crafting. So let's have a look at the various Hardwoods and how to obtain them.

Hardwood
Regular Hardwood can be obtained by placing orders at a woodcutting village.

Treated Hardwood
Refined at the Artisan, Treated Hardwood can be obtained by refining 10 Hardwood into 1 Treated Hardwood.

Selected Hardwood
Selected Hardwood is a resource only available from Caravans that depart from a wood village. Clans that control a trade post in the Wood Village can have caravans gather this over time. For those that do not have the option to control a trade post, this can be obtained by raiding caravans. A raided caravan that departed from any wood village will yield 3 Selected Hardwood.

Selected Treated Hardwood
Refined at the Artisan, Selected Treated Hardwood can be made by refining Selected Hardwood. See the Crafting system above.

Iron & Steel Variants​

Iron Ore
The base resource Iron Ore is obtained by placing orders at a mining village.

Iron Ingot
Refined at the Artisan, Iron Ingots can be obtained by refining 10 Iron Ores into 1 Iron Ingot. See Crafting system in above post.

Selected Iron Ore
Selected Iron Ore is a resource only available from Caravans that depart from a mining village. Clans that control a trade post in the mining Village can have caravans gather this over time. For those that do not have the option to control a trade post, this can be obtained by raiding caravans. A raided caravan that departed from any mining village will yield 3 Selected Iron Ore. Steel Ingot
Refined at the Artisan, Steel Ingots can be obtained by refining 1 Selected Iron Ore into 1 Steel Ingot. See crafting system in above post.

Leather Variants​

Boar Carcass
The base resources required to make Leather (or meat) can be obtained by placing an order in a hunting village.

Leather
Refined at the Artisan, Leather can be obtained by refining 1 Board Carcasses into 1 Leather. See Crafting system in above post.

Royal Board Carcass
Royal Board Carcass is a resource only available from Caravans that depart from a hunting village. Clans that control a trade post in the hunting Village can have caravans gather this over time. For those that do not have the option to control a trade post, this can be obtained by raiding caravans. A raided caravan that departed from any hunting village will yield 3 Royal Boar Carcass'. Quality Leather
Refined at the Artisan, Quality Leather can be obtained by refining 1 Royal Board Carcasses into 1 Quality Leather. See Crafting system in above post.
